Coupon listings should show the merchant, code or activation method, restrictions, expiry if supplied, and the time last verified. A coupon should never be presented as guaranteed until the merchant accepts it at checkout.
Coupon verification checklist
- Open the official merchant or recognised affiliate destination.
- Confirm eligible categories, minimum spend and excluded brands.
- Check whether membership, app installation or subscription is required.
- Record the verification date.
- Remove or label expired offers promptly.
